The original Clifton hotel dates back to the early eighteenth centuary which was extensively replaced in the Victorian period. This building was successively extended in later periods to produce the current building which has four distinct phases. The brief called for the remodelling of the interior to form two separate nightclubs/ public houses and a hotel franchise to the upper floors.
KDA provided an initial survey of the building and subsequent structural design and strengthening of the exisiting building.
